First Aid training in Kingston, ON
These courses have hands-on activities so that you learn how to do the skills. This is why these
courses are not allowed to be done virtually.
Please read this section first before choosing a course and then you register by e-mailing me at
ingrid.training@gmail.com (giving me the following information: first and last name, your
email address, phone number, which course you would like to take and on which date).
I am a small business and this is the cheapest way I can set up online payment which benefits both
of us.
Methods of payment for individuals--You can etransfer the money to my email address.
--Pay Pal (You do not have to join Pay Pal to pay me online.
You can use it as a "Guest." It offers payment options with a credit card as well as debit).
Methods of payment for business--Business cheque, direct deposit, etransfer or use Pay Pal.
There is no refund. You can reschedule your training but there will be a rescheduling
fee. Respiratory viruses have been a major problem, so please keep yourself safe so that
you can attend the class.
There is no refund if you failed to show up for your course without prior notice.
These courses will go ahead even when registration level is low.
Attendance requirement is 100% set by WSIB.
Please bring a pen and paper. Thanks.
All participants need to wear pants/shorts.
Anyone who can not manage stairs should contact me so that we can discuss our options in order
to meet your needs.
Please inform me if you have a learning disability (what it is exactly and how I can assist you) or
physical challenge.
Please choose another training date if you are unable to attend the course for whatever reason.
I may postpone the training date when I am sick, or if I have a personal emergency or when the road
is unsafe to travel. I will contact you and we will set up your next training date. If I postponed your
training date, full refund will be given at your request, if I can not provide you with a sufficient
alternate date that is convenient for you.
Training will not be at Captain Matthew J. Dawe Memorial Branch # 631, but the
actual training site will be in the west end of Kingston, at my home near the Legion.
I live near Bath Rd and Collins Bay as well as near Bayridge and Taylor Kidd. I will
give you my home address at least 4 days before the course date. My home is a safe
training site since I follow safety protocols, I need to protect my home and I do not want to
get sick . Maximum number of people who can take the course is 4 due to the small
space.
If I am teaching you at my home, since I need to keep my home safe, all participants are
expected to provide his/her own face mask which covers the nose and mouth during the
course. This way, I do not get sick and I will be able to follow through with the scheduled courses.
When I teach outside of my home, as long as you are not contagious, not coughing
or sneezing, you can have the option of wearing or not wearing the face mask.
Non-latex gloves are mandatory as well. If you do not have access to gloves, you will
be charged $1 extra. You will also provide your own hand sanitizer (at least 70%
alcohol).
You must be COVID free and NOT contagious when you attend my course.
Each participant is expected to go through the self assessment tool before the
course, but on the same day of the course. Please save it on your cell phone and show it
to me. Or you can save it and send it to my email address the morning of your course.
https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/.
Please register by emailing me and give me your first and last name, phone number,
name of the course you are taking, which date and make the payment. Since I have
a small group at my home, please check for availability first before making the payment.
If you wish to pay via e-transfer, please send the payment to ingrid.training@gmail.com.
Pay Pal button can be used as a "Guest." Thank you.
