First Aid training in Kingston, ON

These courses have hands-on activities so that you learn how to do the skills.  This is why these

courses are not allowed to be done virtually.

Please read this section first before choosing a course and then you register by e-mailing me at

ingrid.training@gmail.com (giving me the following information:  first and last name, your

email address, phone number, which course you would like to take and on which date).

I am a small business and this is the cheapest way I can set up online payment which benefits both of

us.

Methods of payment for individuals--Pay Pal (You do not have to join Pay Pal to pay me online.

You can use it as a "Guest."  It offers payment options with a credit card as well as debit). You

can also etransfer the money to my email address.

Methods of payment for business--Pay Pal, direct deposit, etransfer or a business cheque.

There is no refund.   You can reschedule your training once but there will be a rescheduling fee.

COVID has been a major problem, so please keep yourself safe so that you can attend the class.

If you rescheduled once and you still could not attend the second time, you will lose your spot

and your money.

There is no refund if you failed to show up for your course without prior notice.

These courses will go ahead even when registration level is low.

Attendance requirement set by WSIB:  100%

Please bring a pen and paper. Thanks.

All participants need to wear pants/shorts.

Anyone who can not manage stairs should contact me so that we can discuss our options in order to

meet your needs.

Please inform me if you have a learning disability (what it is exactly and how I can assist you) or

physical challenge.

Please choose another training date if you are unable to attend the course for whatever reason.

If you are ill and contagious, please change your training to a different date so

that you are not going to infect other people.

I may postpone the training date when I am sick, or if I have a personal emergency or when the road is

unsafe to travel. I will contact you and we will set up your next training date.  If I postponed your

training date, full refund will be given at your request, if I can not provide you with a sufficient alternate

date that is convenient for you.

Training will not be at Captain Matthew J. Dawe Memorial Branch # 631, but the

actual training site will be in the west end of Kingston, at my home near the Legion.

I live near Bath Rd and Collins Bay as well as near Bayridge and Taylor Kidd.  I will

give you my home address at least 4 days before the course date.  My home is a safe

training site since I follow the Red Cross/WSIB protocols and I do not want to

get sick .  Maximum number of people who can take the course is 4 due to the small

space.

Due to COVID-19 and other contagious diseases going around,  all participants are

expected to provide his/her own face mask which covers the nose and mouth during the

course.   I need to keep myself safe as well as everyone else who attends my course.  This

way, I do not get sick and I will be able to follow through with the scheduled courses.  I

believe it is unwise not to be protected when diseases are still making people sick and hospitalized. Red Cross recommends Training Partners to use "best practice"  approach.

Non-latex gloves are mandatory as well.  If you do not have access to gloves, you will be

charged extra. You will also provide your own hand sanitizer (at least 70% alcohol).

You must be COVID free and NOT contagious when you attend my course.

Each participant is expected to go through the self assessment tool before the

course,  but on the same day of  the course.  Please print it, sign anywhere on the first

page which indicates that you are COVID safe, and hand it in to me. https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/.  Or you can save it on your cell phone and show it to me.

Please be responsible and considerate by not spreading COVID-19.  If you feel ill and/or

show infectious symptoms, please notify me immediately and we will reschedule (fee).

Thanks.

Please register by emailing me and use the Pay Pal button in the

correct section for the course you would like to take, if you wish to pay me with a

credit card or debit. You do not have to join Pay Pal in order to use this option...use it as

a guest.   The Pay Pal button in each section is a generic button for that specific course;

therefore, please tell me on which date(s) you are planning to attend.  If you wish to pay

via e-transfer, please send the payment to ingrid.training@gmail.com.  Thank you.
